As a Production Planner, you help turn complex demand into smooth, reliable manufacturing. You coordinate people, materials, and schedules across electronics production and hardware installation teams, aligning global customer deliveries with internal R&D needs. You have real ownership to shape and develop our production planning ways of working as IQM grows. Your work keeps our quantum computers moving from development to delivery on schedule, while strengthening how we plan, build, and scale.
What will I be doing?
- Prepare weekly and monthly production plans based on customer system forecasts and internal station steering needs
- Translate demand plans into clear and actionable manufacturing work orders
- Coordinate closely with Procurement to ensure availability of raw materials and components
- Plan resource needs together with production team leads
- Monitor production progress and track deviations from the plan
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks, capacity constraints, and material shortages
- Maintain healthy levels of work in progress and finished goods inventory
- Improve production planning, assembly processes, and material handling practices together with team leaders
- Keep production teams informed about schedule changes and priorities
- Act as a key link between procurement and production
- Support smooth handover of new products from development into production
What skills do I need?
- A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, or a related field
- At least three years of experience in manufacturing production planning
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and shop floor operations
- Knowledge of MRP, capacity planning, and inventory control
- Hands on experience with ERP systems (such as NetSuite)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Clear and collaborative communication skills across different teams
- A proactive and improvement minded approach to developing processes, tools, and ways of working
- Comfortable working in English as our shared working language
