We are looking for a Procurement Administrator. As a Procurement Administrator, you'll be part of a cross-functional team whose mission is to lead IonQ on its journey to build the world's best quantum computers to solve the world's most complex problems.
In this role, you will support the Procurement team by managing the day-to-day execution of purchase orders, reconciling invoices, onboarding suppliers, and ensuring accurate order tracking. This is a hands-on, detail-oriented position that plays a critical role in our supply chain operations. It's an exciting opportunity to contribute directly to IonQ's supplier experience as we scale our quantum systems.
Responsibilities:
- Create, manage, and track purchase orders from submission to completion
- Perform invoice reconciliation and resolve discrepancies in collaboration with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Support supplier onboarding and maintain accurate supplier records
- Monitor order delivery status and proactively manage exceptions or delays
- Maintain accurate and organized procurement records and documentation
- Partner with the Procurement team to identify process improvement opportunities
- Assist with reporting and data entry to support cross-functional collaboration
You'd be a good fit with:
- 2+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or administrative support
- Familiarity with Google Workspace tools (Docs, Sheets, Drive) and Microsoft Office
- Experience using NetSuite or similar ERP systems
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently

- Experience in a hardware, electronics, or manufacturing environment
- Understanding of basic procurement or accounting processes
- Experience with supplier portals or onboarding tools

The approximate base pay range for this position is $22.51 - $27.18 per hour. The total compensation package includes base, bonus, and equity.
Compensation will vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Posted base salary figures are subject to change as new market data becomes available.
