We are seeking a Quantum Control Software Intern for our Broomfield, CO location. Full-stack control of quantum computers requires filling the gap between physics and classical controls systems, and we’re hiring an intern to work in exactly that space.
This internship offers hands-on experience developing and improving the software and infrastructure that operate world-leading trapped-ion quantum computers. Specific projects for the internship can range from developing control software that directly interfaces with the hardware to improving higher-level infrastructure such as CI/CD pipelines, device management, and automation. Specific assignments will be shaped to match your skills and interests. Our interns work alongside AMO (Atomic, Molecular, and Optical) physicists and software engineers to deliver key tools for advancing our quantum computers, while gaining experience at the interface of quantum hardware and software.
