Quantum Optics & Hardware Setup: I have extensive hands-on experience designing and operating sensitive optical benches equipped with single-photon detectors (SNSPDs, SPADs), narrow-linewidth lasers, fiber-coupling optics, and beam aligners. My work focuses on real-time link characterization, minimizing Quantum Bit Error Rates (QBER), and optimizing key generation rates.
Protocol & System Testing: I possess a deep understanding of QKD protocols (including BB84 and phase-sensitive architectures like Twin-Field QKD). I routinely execute validation protocols to evaluate link stability, optical attenuation, and noise limits under varied operational conditions.
Automation & Systems Integration: I regularly write custom Python scripts for test automation, data acquisition, and performance analysis. I understand how quantum key generation units interface with classical network infrastructure, key management systems, and encryption hardware.
