- Collaborate with physicists, mathematicians, computer scientists, and software engineers on multidisciplinary projects.

- Stay informed about advancements in AI, machine learning, and scientific computing, and assess their applicability to research programmes.
- Contribute to research publications, technical reports, patents, and internal knowledge sharing where appropriate.

- PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Physics, Mathematics, Computational Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong experience in applying AI and machine learning techniques to scientific or research-focused problems.
- Solid understanding of deep learning, generative AI, large language models, or foundation models.
- Proficiency in Python and machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or equivalent.
- Experience working with large datasets, scientific computing environments, and data analysis tools.
- Knowledge of scientific modelling, optimisation, simulation, or computational research methods.
- Familiarity with quantum computing, quantum algorithms, quantum chemistry, materials science, or related scientific domains is desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to translate research ideas into practical solutions and experimental frameworks.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
