We are looking for a Senior Project Manager with a focus on fabrication to join our program management team and support the delivery of complex technology projects within our quantum hardware development roadmap.
In this role, you will act as the operational anchor for fabrication-related projects, coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring that project milestones, budgets, and technical objectives are achieved. You will work closely with engineers, technical leads, operations teams, and external partners to manage timelines, resolve dependencies, and ensure smooth collaboration across teams.
This role is ideal for a project manager with experience in semiconductor manufacturing who enjoys working at the intersection of engineering, operations, and program management.
What will I be doing?
- Develop and execute project plans, including resource allocation and risk management strategies.
- Coordinate cross-functional project teams working on fabrication, design, and technology development.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resource planning.
- Track project progress, tasks, and milestones using tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, dependencies, and potential delays.
- Communicate project status, progress, and issues to stakeholders, including leadership and project sponsors.
- Coordinate daily or weekly project meetings and ensure alignment between technical teams.
- Maintain project documentation, reports, and deliverables.
- Support collaboration with external partners, suppliers, and research collaborators.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with strategic goals.
What skills do I need?
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven track record delivering large-scale technical or R&D projects on time and within budget.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, evolving technology environments.
- Capability to drive clarity and enable decision-making.
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams across engineering and operations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in semiconductor manufacturing, cleanroom environments, or laboratory-based R&D
- Experience working in deep-tech or research-driven organizations
- Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, IPMA, Agile/Scrum)
