We are looking for an Advanced Electrical Engineerto design and enhance the control system for our next-generation quantum computers at our Broomfield, CO location.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform circuit design, analysis, measurement, and test.
- Lead small design team to complete projects with first pass success
- Successfully complete projects on-time with limited supervision
- Perform first article testing in the lab for new designs
- Work in a new product development environment
- Design products using DFx best practices
- Knowledge in ADC/DACs, amplifiers, passive/active filtering, analog control loops, and low-noise design techniques and measurements.
- Schematic entry and board layout experience (Altium PCB software preferred)
- Model and simulate complex circuitry and validate the model with hardware measurements
- Work closely with cross functional team including mechanical engineers, software engineers, optical engineers, & scientists to develop analog electronics for use in our quantum computers
- Experience with laboratory test equipment such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, etc.
YOU MUST HAVE:
- Bachelor’s Degree minimum
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in specification, development, and test of analog electronic products
- Due to Contractual requirements, must be a U.S. Person defined as, U.S. citizen permanent resident or green card holder, workers granted asylum or refugee status
- Due to national security requirements imposed by the U.S. Government, candidates for this position must not be a People's Republic of China national or Russian national unless the candidate is also a U.S. citizen.
WE VALUE:
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred
- 6+ years of industry experience in an engineering or R&D environment
- Discrete transistor design experience is a plus.
- Proven leadership ability that includes program execution and skills development and mentoring of other engineers and technicians
- Ability to consistently demonstrate decisive business impact and continuous drive for improvement in an ambiguous environment
- Strong communication skills and “right size” design documentation
- Digital, FPGA, and SW experience is a plus but not required

Compensation & Benefits:

The pay range for this role is $113,000 – $141,000 annually. Actual compensation within this range may vary based on the candidate’s skills, educational background, professional experience, and unique qualifications for the role.
